Fashionable clothes

January 24th, 2008

It is generally used to believe, that there are three primary factors which influence estimation of your status, – a silhouette, color and quality of your clothes.

Prestigious silhouette of business clothes first of all has precise contours. The silhouette of business clothes is like an oblong rectangular with the accented corners. Hence, it is a suit – trousers (with strict trousers of a moderate width) or with a skirt to a knee or to middle of a calf (narrow and straight, but not flared skirt or pleated).

The woman at office is less bound by rules of business relations. Frequently meeting with clients and visitors it is important for her to prove the hearty, soft, sympathizing person. In this case the silhouette, on the contrary, should be like an oval, with more retreating shoulders, soft forms, for example, a knitted jumper, jacket-raglan, wider, streamy skirt.

How to select a dress which can cover all lacks of a figure (Part 3)

January 10th, 2008

Plump waist
“To tighten” visually a waist will help high or low waistline. For example, a dress from Donna Morgan is created using high waistline, drawing attention to a cut by combination of two different fabrics.

“Heavy” bust
The choice of suitable neck of a dress will “balance” the top part of a body which looks too “heavy”. The best choice is deep or V-shaped neck. But don’t use the “sticky” fabrics or too rigid fabrics. Also avoid excessive decoration of top and a neck of a dress.

Small bosom
Actually, the most clothes better suits women with a small bosom. However if you want to give your bosom a visual volume, choose a dress decorated with frills or laces.

Excessive leanness
Bright colors and original patterns will compensate absence of forms and give some charm. Additional details – wide sleeves and, for example, a lace on a waist, will visually add some volume. Avoid “sticky” fabrics – they will accentuate thin hips.
