Black-and-white classics

Mohair

This trend has been borrowed from man’s clothes - this time designers have taken trousers - wide and with a short waist, especially effective on a slim figure. However such trousers will suit everyone - the short waist in combination with footwear of the same color visually “stretches out” a figure.

Knee skirts
As it has already been told, this season designers promote restraint. Therefore there is no mini, hobble-skirt to a knee and nothing more - it is modest and womanly. It can be worn with a jacket or knitted cardigan. The main accent is made on a waist - “sand-glass” silhouette is again in fashion this season.

The fashion, as well as the history, spires, and almost always something new is very well forgotten old, therefore in searches of fresh ideas designers quite often look at old collections. This year has not done without retro style – 40s set the fashion in autumn-winter collections 2007/2008. 

Apparently, even designers have already satiated with pretentiousness and diversity peculiar to the previous seasons, and have decided to recollect feminity, elegance and… modesty. Skirt up to a knee, a shoe-pumps and high gloves are again in fashion. Most fashionable colors this season are grey, black, red accents, turkish azure, green olive, purple.  

Short coats
Coats are obvious favorite of the season - in the military style, skintight or of the А-shaped form. The most fashionable length - up to a knee or shorter. The main tendencies - the short sleeve, absence of a collar and a wide belt.

Medieval motives
In the center of attention stands well-known warrior Jeanne Darc. Dresses, reminding armor, metal shine… Influence of this image is precisely traced in collections from Barbara Bui and Dice Kayek.

In the spring, if you wish to feel slack, but without the help of oversize silhouettes and grey color, look at Gant collection.

It has three lines: G.N.H. Collection, Rugger Collection, Ellio Gant Collection.

In G.N.H. Collection you will find female checked trousers in the length hardly below a knee, polo shirts, white trench coats, knitted dresses, short jackets, cardigans and shorts. Men’s collection has variety of shirts, cotton polo-piques, and also jackets, white jeans trousers, sweaters. A spring palette of colors in G.N.H. Collection is from dark blue and claret up to white and pink.  

Rugger Line in a new season has a spirit of travel: jeans with patches and knitted waistcoat in retro-style, classical waistcoat in combination with a white shirt and shorts for men. Girls can find in Rugger lengthened airy tops, tunics without sleeves, khaki color shorts, plush tolstovkas.

Elliot Gant could be an embodiment of casual chic concept. The European elegance is underlined with expensive fabrics, soft monochrome pastel tones and pure silhouettes. For men - light suits, long shorts, light jersey, for girls - satiny bright blouses, dresses with wrap over, long cardigans, short cotton jackets.

Fashion House Burberry specializing on clothes manufacture, has decided to expand business and to pay special attention to accessories. The company is going promote its handbags - models Beaton and Knight bag created this season.

Also the British brand is going to present o the public a high-grade jewelry collection. «This spring Burberry has already presented some jewelry models, however now we are going to create a high-grade collection which will be submitted in all our shops the next season», - said the press-secretary of the Fashion House. The British brand has presented the previous series of jeweller accessories during the spring fashion show Burberry Prorsum this year. Owing to Christopher Bailey’s diligence, who has taken part in development of new ornaments’ design, the collection will appear next spring.

A jeweller line includes the great number of various models made from black nickel in various color variations. Among them will be chains, necklaces, rings and the bracelets made as a circle, a square and a hexagon. Some decorative elements of handbags from new Burberry collection have also been used in jewelry design, for example threefold chains and metal rivets. Now, buying a new handbag, each girl can find some suitable ornaments.

The price for ornaments from the spring Burberry collection will make approximately $195 - $1595.

The choice of footwear traditionally remains one of the most difficult in formation of an autumn-winter wardrobe.
