Dresses - shirts for the last couple years became an integral part of a summer wardrobe. This summer season dresses-shirts are more serious alternative to other dress trends.
One of relevant ways to wear a dress-shirt is to combine it with leggings. Actually, some models without leggings can look simply slovenly (as though their owner has simply forgotten to put on trousers), especially, if the dress itself very much reminds a simple shirt (a dress from Splendid).

Everything was like that until designer Ralph Lauren has not transformed window shopping into more fascinating pastime.
Now admirers of Ralph Lauren brand in London following New York inhabitants can buy clothes without entering the shop. London boutique is already the second shop of the American designer equipped with the unique novelty - the touch screen on a shop window. With the help of this device buyers can order the clothes they want to their houses.
The device works easy. You enter your home address with the help of the special touch keyboard located directly on a shop window, together with the information of a credit card. Well, though the designer asserts, that such innovations are more advertising tricks, rather than alternative to the real shopping, practice shows that many with pleasure use the new service.


Pucci conquers San Trope

Fashion creators have long ago settled on villas and beaches in San Trope. The last summer remained in memory by a loud party and John Galliano’s show, this year Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Cavalli have decided to support the tradition.
And last week Emilio Pucci arrived in summer hangout capital with the show of his last winter collection.
That evening hotel La Tartane gathered the closest friends - more than 100 persons. The daughter of the company’s founder Lawdomia Pucci in a dress with bright flower pattern welcomed the guests.
Her dress-code was fallowed by the majority of present ladies. And gentlemen, despite of the resort mood, have put on suits and white shirts.
Long-legged girls in multi-colored coats and fur coats defiled along the pool, and respectable visitors, nodding their approval, asked the price of their future purchases.
The collection got praises even of the most strict critics after fashion show during Milan Fashion Week last February, has been appreciated by potential buyers as well.


The new management will deprive Gucci of sexuality

However all has changed, when 34-years Frida Giannini became the creative derector, 41-years Mark Lee - an executive director of the brand.

Christian Lacroix has never been a designer, who does his work partly. One of the most eccentric representatives of fashion industry, he always adored adornments – and the new collection is not an exception.
39 models of the collection became the special mixture of vintage Paris and unusual femininity: Christian Lacroix – one of that few designers, who succeed to create completely natural for an adult woman style, which would seem to be suitable only for girls-teenagers. New collection has marked the twentieth anniversary of Christian Lacroix as a designer and, predictably, doesn’t yield to previous collections by riches, splendor and variety of adornments.
However a new contrast present in the collection in the end expressed in eccentric models: frock-coats, clothes in military style over simple one-color clothes. The use of color is amazing: for example, cobalt- blue bolero with ostrich-plumes over very bright satin dress with finishing of corsage of saturated-black color; or red-beige mantelet with the fur finishing over a shirt in style of the twentieth. Dresses from the black lace «Infanta» and clothes «Josephine» from chiffon demonstrated all of that designer’s love to embellishment. The fashion show was closed by the British model Lily Coul in the amazing clothes of fiancee from gilded tulles with embroidery over the silk with floral patterns.


Summer footwear in gladiators’ style

So-called “gladiatorial” sandals were popular for several summer seasons, and have become one of the most preferable kinds of the summer footwear on a flat sole. However no trend can last endlessly and this summer popularity of “footwear of gladiators”, most likely, at last comes to an end.
«The second breath» for such footwear has given the spring - summer 2007 collection from Balenciaga Fashion House in which designers of a brand have included the gladiatorial sandals decorated with set of glittering details.
The majority of stylists agree that such sandals do not suit short women. Stepheno Pilati has gambled on youth

YSL’s creative director Stepheno Pilati is convinced, that his new more democratic clothes line named Edition 24 will have the big success at a progressive youth audience. «We have tried on purpose to create models for more broad audience of fashionable woman, younger ones», - declared the designer who has invited for an interactive photographing popular photographer Nick Knight. During the whole 24 hours on July, 15 in the Internet to the address www.showstudio.com inquisitive audience could observe the process of master’s work, emotional Stepheno Pilati’s gestures and graceful pas of the American supermodel Jessica Miller.
Edition 24 collection from Stepheno Pilati consists of 50 unique items of the daily clothes together giving 24 quite finished attires. According to Pilati, he created the collection, being inspired by the modern girls with rather democratic lifestyle, who got used to a freedom of movement and easy and tripping conversation.

Nothing we wait for with such a passion, but summer! We agree to view as its embodiment only sea, beach and everything connected to it. This is a light dress over a swimming suit, a straw hat on a head and a beach bag in a hand …
