Even the most perfect suit - anything if the shoes don’t match. The choice of footwear can change your appearance completely: Even if you have the most fashionable jeans or the best suit, ideal shirt and a fashionable tie, your footwear can bring all efforts to nothing. In a man’s wardrobe should be, at least, five base models of footwear which will help the owner almost in all life situations.

1. Gym or running shoes.

2. Daily shoes.

5. Classical boots.

Man’s brand Band of Outsiders announced launch of a women’s line.
Not widely known in Russia, but valued Band of Outsiders brand develops, and a women’s line of such brand is a pleasant surprise. Band of Outsiders works in an Oxford style, dresses young and not very young men. The main condition for their clothes - a beautiful figure, you see, tummies won’t suit semi-fitting shirts with short sleeves, which are together with suits with narrow jackets in great amount at Band of Outsiders.

Roman Holiday with Bottega Veneta

Italian fashion house Bottega Veneta gets ready for opening the smart apartments on the top floor of prestigious Roman hotel St. Regis. The first clients can take pleasure of comfort and the first class service of new luxury apartment in September already.
The apartments made in beige-cream color are completed by stylish furniture and equipped with the last technological novelties. Visitors will have an opportunity to estimate the first class quality of cashmere coverlets, antique bedside-tables, suede armchairs, and also the Venetian glass. Some months ago Bottega Veneta run similar experiment in hotel St. Regis in Manhattan - both visitors, and owners of the magnificent hotel were impressed, so the project has received its start in life. Nearest plans of Italian designers include work above the apartments in hotels of leading world capitals.
“It is great honor for me to get similar project. It enables to show the imagination, creating a unique place for rest in the heart of Rome”, admitted Bottega Veneta`s creative director Thomas Mayer.
All furniture displayed in luxury suite, is made at Bottega Veneta factory. The object of apartments` pride are unique woolen carpets from New Zealand, created by special request of designers.


Umbrellas are different: what to choose

Discussion about which one is better - automatic, mechanical, ordinary, folding or a cane, renews every spring with interseasonal rains. Experts of an “umbellate” affair didn’t manage to find the answer to this question. But all of them agree that there is nothing worse than low-quality goods.
The simplest way to check an umbrella is to open it and slightly shake. If the frame jingles and trembles, and the fabric is badly tensed – it means, such umbrella won’t last long.
Reliability of an umbrella also depends on the amount of folding. The less - the better. The most reliable - is cane-umbrella. But this “shaft” will not get even in a suitcase, and one should be able to carry it elegantly.
A folding umbrella is certainly easier for the owner. It is placed without an effort in a ladies’ handbag. And small one even in theatrical handbag. Designers have taken care of those who go without a bag at all and created a model which when folded becomes flat. Such umbrella can be carried, for example, in a pocket, or may be attached to a belt, as mobile phone.
The durability of an umbrella depends not only on its quality, but also on the temper of the owner. The most simple, mechanical umbrella, demands patience and accuracy. It is cheaper than the others, but at the careful treatment will serve long. An impulsive person will better purchase the “full automatic” device (or as it is named, “superautomatic device”). It, certainly, will cost more, but there is any trouble neither with opening, nor with folding.


Hugo Boss has changed the art - director

It became common for many fashion houses to change the creative directors in spring. The German Hugo Boss has decided to not lag behind and head for democratization and mass character of one of its advanced lines, having appointed on a post of art - director of the most popular Hugo line well-known Belgian designer Bruno Piters. Piters is known in his homeland Antwerp and in Europe for a rather successful brand of the same name.
It is necessary to note, that when at the end of 2006 Folker Keihele left the post of Hugo creative director, German fashion house management repeatedly discussed the urgent need of changes and new important assignments.
Simultaneously with the statement about the Bruno Piters assignment it became known that he will team up with the popular designer of sportswear Eyan Allen, who earlier created collections for such brands as Nike, Puma, Adidas and Ellesse in Europe. He has taken up a post of the creative director.
Both designers will come into office on June, 1.


Sudaryanto coup d’etat*

It is always interesting to watch collections, inspired by historic suits. After all, to make these things modern and fashionable and to spare “museum shade”, the designer should have luxuriant imagination and excellent taste.
Velvet jackets on links and volumetric sleeves, blister sleeves with the lowered cleanness of shoulder -, a similar silhouette is played up by the designer differently: she transforms it either into lacy blouses, or in wind-jammer jackets from taffeta or bolero.
Empire “citations” are also used by Sudaryanto in queer dresses with the high waistline and thin coats. Modern and tendentious things are also present in this collection: magnificent shorts, skirts-tulips in sports style, overalls.
Man’s collection should be noted separately. Unlike the women’s one, it is a city and unsure: knitted waistcoats, wide trousers, tolstovkas with hoods, soft jackets with contrast trim.

Mulberry have gained sexuality

It is an open secret that the “correct” handbag is a continuation and true “I” of its owner; indeed, not always this accessory tells about our sexuality. State of affairs was improved by Mulberry brand.
Or rather, by well known designer Jill Dekon who has put out the special line under the name of this brand.
Collection has all imaginable accessories. There are leather bracelets with a huge gold glossy rivet, charms for handbags made as an awesome mace with thorns. Handbags tell also about fascinating nights: first, the designer has used the most contrast colors - black, white and red. Second, the texture of leather itself is sexual too, you may choose between a varnish and a polish. And the soft silhouettes of these bags resist to severity and clearness of rivets and thorns. In general, this season Dekon`s creations may become a fetish.


Verka Serdjuchka inspired Finnish designers

For the Eurovision specially the Finnish designers have developed youth clothes line with its main souvenir - badge - with the image of the person in huge glasses - dragonflies and a flower on a head. Creation of this fashionable print was inspired by Ukrainian singer Verka Serdjuchka. Clothes line is called the Queen of the Eurovision. The clothes, bathing suits, and also such accessories as handbags, trinkets and badges will be on sale during the sing contest.
Andrey Danilko, the candidate from Ukraine, knows about the creation of souvenirs and is very pleased.
“I have already seen these badges. They are made very stylishly and tastefully. I liked it, -  told Danilko. - Though more often uncoordinated beforehand souvenir irritates me, as it is often made with lack of taste”. Danilko complained, that “the country does not help Serdjuchka to prepare for the Eurovision”.
Let’s remind that Eurovision - 2007 will take place May, 12 in the capital of Finland, Helsinki, in connection with the last year’s triumph of Finnish group Lordi. The record amount of countries will participate in the ending of the Eurovision`s finale - 52.

1. The head scarf from Prada suited both sisters Olsen. Therefore Ashley Olsen wear it in Los Angeles, and Mary – Kate during a fashion party in Paris.
2. Sisters Simpson like Louis Vuitton, however, do not like to buy new accessories. Louis Vuitton handbag they share: Jessica Simpson has appeared with it during a dinner in Hollywood, and Ashley - at a party in Los Angeles.
