Luca Luca cruise collection

July 3rd, 2007

One may hope, that ladies traveling by the first class whose images inspired designer Luca Orlandi on creation of his cruise collections enjoyed more favorable for holiday weather, than that that interfered in the designer’s plans and break the order of carrying out of the fashion show. After a delay caused by the strongest downpour in New York, models in sunglasses appeared on Luca Luca podium in summer clothes strongly reminding the twentieth years, an inceptive trend of the season. These light pleated dresses could have easily worn Daisy Buchanan; however lacing gave them a little bit sports view.
According to designer Orlandi, the collection has been created first of all for those women who are «today in Rome, and tomorrow - in Osaka», however the basic theme of the collection was all the same more close to Jackie O’s style. Jacquard coats looked light and flimsy and suits otherwise were cut out for a respectable, adult woman. However in general it is not so difficult to imagine a stylish traveler going at the back of beyond with a suitcase full of pleated skirts and light jackets.
