Italian designer Giorgio Armani has declared in the French Cannes about his intention to support newly made Martin Scorsese’s initiative named World Cinema Foundation. Armani has admitted, that considers a great honor opportunity to take part in the unique project devoted to preservation and restoration of the important and forgotten films from all world. «As well as for Martin, cinema for me was inspiration and made strong influence on my life since young years, - has declared the designer. - I think, that Martin Scorsese and his colleagues - producers have thought up a very important mission».
Scorsese has declared that he and Armani will also work together on creation of film - memory in honor of Italian cinema - in the same key, as their last joint project «Il Mio Viaggio in Italia». «I am very glad, that my good friend Giorgio Armani has agreed to help us», - admitted the producer.
