Giorgio Armani has declared the plans to invest almost 100 million dollars in expansion of his fashion empire in the nearest three years. Despite of active rumors about possible fast leaving from a post of the head of Giorgio Armani house and quiet pension of the great fashion designer, he is not going to leave the work.
Armani’s expansion will begin from the opening of a unique huge boutique in New York on the well-known Fifth Avenue. Megastore on the area more than 47 thousand square foots will become the true museum.
«The spirit of a new shop will reflect all modern changes in the world: it will be international, cosmopolitan, multicultural and, that it is the most important, will meet the last requirements of progress», – told the designer in an interview to Women’s Wear Daily edition.
Among the further plans of the company – new start of Armani Jeans in the US and serious promotion forward in the field of online-trade.
