In a pursuit for Fashion Fringe

The main British contest of young design talents Fashion Fringe has summed up and determined the ten finalists which will battle for the main prize – the contract for the creation of a high-grade clothes line, the check for 100 thousand pounds for the launch of their own business and an opportunity to take part in the London fashion week.
This year the semifinal reached fallowing young fashion designers: AV Gur, Andrea McWha, David England, Dejan Agatonovic, Erika Trotzig, Graeme Armour, Katja Daugaard, Maciey Blazejewski, Olivia Rubin and duet Maki Lofrander and Marcus Wilmont. From thousand beginners who have submitted applications for participation, the authoritative jury with a chairman Tom Ford, has selected this ten young talents, with whom, in opinion of the Fashion Fringe founders, is tomorrow of the British fashion industry. Among the other judges are Christopher Bailey, Natalie Maseene and Elizabeth Salzman. They will take an interview with each finalist, study their sketches and give useful advice.
AV Gur and Erika Trotzig, the graduate of Saint Martins College are considered the obvious favorites of the final race.
Among the last years Fashion Fringe winners are such designers as Basso&Brooke, Erdem Moralioglu and Gavin Douglas.
