Heel: an emotional experiment

Peter Druker, one of the famous management theorists has noticed that «people do not buy footwear any more only to keep feet dry and worm. They buy it because footwear allows them to feel more courageous, womanly, severe, young, strong, charming or effective. Purchase of footwear becomes an emotional experiment. Today business sells more likely not footwear, but excitements and emotions».

It is difficult to disagree with it. The footwear for a long time has become not only a sign of a class characteristic and life style. And a heel is a favorite object of design experiments. Imagination has no limits, and in some models the owner can only stand, and not for a long.

The overwhelming majority of women prefer heeled footwear. The role of “stiletto heel” in seduction impossible to overestimate - imagine, for example, the girl dancing striptease in running shoes. If to look deeply, everything is even more interesting. It turned out that the women, who are putting on high heels, subconsciously aspire to be blended with the «golden section».

Parts of beautifully set-up human body are in the certain proportion. Partition of a body above a point of a navel is one of the basic parameters of the “golden section». Contrary to a developed stereotype, men are set-up much more proportionally, than women. Women don’t achieve perfection a little bit, and heels visually restore this proportion. But here it is also important to know when to stop. The belief «the higher, the better» - is rather disputable, especially if to speak about the harmony.
