Actual trends of the season: retro-glamour
This autumn retro returns in fashion. An abundance of flying-away skirts with frills, throat-wraps, high gloves, jerkins, tweed coats and elegant suits with large buttons in collections of leading western designers is evident confirmation to that.
If you need to fill up the collection of autumn coats and dresses with classical womanly images – there are no variants better, than those suggested by the Italian brand Alberta Ferretti. Also Alberta Ferretti suggests tiny black and dark-lilac dresses in the best traditions of Mary Kuant. Rather discreet tweed suits and slim line dresses has presented Donatella Versace, who has made accent on convenience and a practicality of the images. Look closely at sweaters-cardigans on a wide belt and to coats-capes – they are the best of novelties from Versace this season.
Retro style is also traced in the strict woolen Gucci dresses, which are created in the best traditions of military Europe of 1940th years. Creating a collection, designer Fried Ganninni was inspired, as she said, by creativity of the military photographer Li Miller. Slightly baggy velours dresses of dark shades and coats-trapeze, berets with brooch and velvet purses – all this incredibly stylishly reproduces the last epoch.
Classical vintage models also can be met in new collections from Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Julian MacDonald, Hermes, Paul Smith, Louis Vuitton and many others.
