London Fashion Week may be forbidden because of thin models
In struggle against the so-called zero size, not only hazardous to health of models, but also imposing wrong stereotypes to modern women, mayor of London is measured to give up financing of London Fashion Week.
Following the example of British Fashion Council, active struggle against the rigid rules, established in modern fashion-business, has been supported by the British authorities, outright concerned by a developed situation. It is a question of notorious “zero size”, which recently became the widespread phenomenon among models and is the reason of numerous cases of anorexia and other diseases, caused by excessive leanness.
London Fashion Week will be forbidden because of too thin models. This time Boris Johnson, the representative liberally-democratic party Dee Doocey, has called the town governor to give up London Fashion Week in grants for the sum of 4,5 million pounds (9 million dollars) after British Fashion Council’s offer has not found support among organizers.
Not so long ago the British Fashion Council, led by general director Hilary Riva, has called organizers of LFW to follow to the new principle of selection of models. Council has offered to make the certificate, testifying health of model the basic term of fashion industry.
